On day 5, Friday July 20th, the convention heard from 2 republican congressmen, Rodney Davis (R-Illinois) and Dan Donavan (R-New York) and former speaker of the house, Nancy Pelosi (D-California). We also heard from AFL-CIO president Richard Trumka. A great way to end the 71st convention. We learned a lot and had some fun along the way. There is great solidarity in our union and with our union, and we say that in spades this week!
Members of branch 114 and branches across the country wore blue shirts to show solidarity and contribution to the Letter Carrier Political Fund (LCPF).
